Detectives conduct inquiries into workplace death - Wetherill Park


Police are investigating the death of a man at a factory in Sydney’s west this morning.

 

About 1am today, police from Fairfield Local Area Command attended a Wetherill Park industrial estate following reports of a workplace accident at a car components plant.

 

Upon arrival, officers located the body of a 46-year-old man.

 

He had suffered severe injuries to much of his body after being crushed in an industrial mixer.

 

A crime scene was secured and specialist forensics police examined the area for clues.

 

Inquiries are continuing.

 

A report will be prepared by police for the information of the NSW Coroner.
