WA farmer crushed to death by machinery

A West Australian man has died after being crushed by a piece of machinery on his farm.

The 48-year-old man from Carabooda, north of Perth, died on Sunday afternoon, apparently crushed by a slasher connected to his tractor.

A WorkSafe WA inspector travelled to the farm on Sunday to investigate the circumstances of the farmer's death.
