Building accident claims life at Torquay

TORQUAY, Victoria - A man has died in an industrial accident at an address in Aurora Crescent, Torquay. A 69 year old man was found dead by police yesterday afternoon.

It is believed that the man died sometime between 23 January 2008 and 25 January after a fall and subsequent lacerations inflicted by an electric saw.

The man is believed to have been working as a sub-contractor on the property.

WorkSafe are investigating and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

The man is yet to be formally identified.
